The term “invisible braces” usually means braces that are clear. They aren’t really invisible; they are just hard to see from a distance. The closest things to really invisible braces are made of metal and have silver color brackets like ordinary braces. The difference is that they go on the back of the teeth instead of the front, making it nearly impossible for anyone to see them when looking at someone who is wearing them. These braces are called lingual braces because they go on the back of the teeth near the tongue.
