What does my first visit include?
Your first visit to us is complimentary. We want you to feel comfortable with your decision to start treatment with us.
Your first visit includes:
- Comprehensive orthodontic exam, including digital x-rays, photos and digital scans with the iTero® Element intraoral scanner
- One-on-one consultation with Dr. Lu, who’s recognized as a top orthodontist throughout the region!
- Cost and insurance review to create a custom payment plan that suits your budget
Before you visit us for your consultation, you can fill out your new patient forms online for an easy peasy check-in process.
What to expect
When you visit us, our goal is to make you feel like the VIP you are! Think personalized welcome signs, theme days, office games, iPads and a coffee bar in the waiting room.
We’ve created a relaxed yet entertaining space for your little one, with a convenient, premium experience for you.
Step 1: Meet your team
First, you’ll be greeted with smiles from our friendly team. That’ll never change!
Our new patient coordinator will give you a tour of the office and get to know a little bit about you. Next, we’ll begin your orthodontic exam.
Step 2: Get digital x-rays, scans & photos
Using the advanced iTero® Element digital scanner, we’ll take quick impressions of your teeth and bite.
The iTero device produces an easy, comfortable digital scan for Dr. Lu to assess your smile, but it can also create a simulated preview of your treatment results. You’ll get a sneak peek of your beautiful new smile before you even begin treatment.
We’ll take digital x-rays with our low-radiation digital x-ray machine. Dr. Lu will use these diagnostic photos, digital impression scans and x-rays to create your personalized treatment plan.
Step 3: Meet your orthodontist
We’ll head over to our consultation room where you’ll meet Dr. Lu! Dr. Lu is known not only for his skill and precision as an orthodontist but for his calm and kind nature, and his transparency in helping patients understand their options too.
Dr. Lu will perform a detailed exam of your teeth and bite, discuss all findings with you, help you choose the best treatment option to align with your priorities, and answer all of your questions.
Step 4: Customize an affordable payment plan
Our new patient coordinator will sit down with you and work out a financial plan to help you cover the cost of braces or the cost of clear aligners.
We’ll discuss your needs, calculate your insurance benefit, and develop a custom payment plan that makes you feel comfortable.
Step 5: Say ‘hello’ to your best self
