Your First Consultation

The first step towards your new smile is meeting Dr. Lu and the staff. You will have an oral exam including X-rays, which will determine what treatment options are good options for you. Then we will discuss your desires and goals for your smile. During the consultation we will

  • Review your dental and medical history.
  • Do an oral exam and X-rays.
  • Talk to you about your goals and help you to create a customized treatment plan.
  • Discuss insurance and payment plans.

We want you to be confident about your treatment and not have to worry about costs, discomfort, or anything else that may concern you. We will answer any and all questions you may have, so feel free to ask anything and express any concerns. We will always do our best to make your orthodontic treatment a positive experience from beginning to end.

Your First Treatment Appointment

After your consultation visit we will schedule your first appointment for treatment. The first appointment may involve preliminary work like preparing your teeth or taking impressions. At this and every appointment our first step is to make you comfortable. We won’t begin work until you are calm, relaxed and confident.

Scheduling Appointments

Scheduling appointments in a timely manner is an important part of your orthodontic treatment. We will always work with you to schedule your appointments at times that are convenient for you. If you ever need to reschedule an appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you.
